Collecting information is an important phase for investigation. Now days whenever user visits any blogger websites. Many websites ask for email addresses for giving notification regarding their content. Such websites stores email id of users. We will show you tool used for collecting usernames on different social networking platforms. Userrecon tool used for finding email addresses on around 75 social media platforms. The tool is helpful for running investigation to check for same username on different social media platforms.
- For testing we are using Kali Linux 2018.4 amd64.
- Open terminal type git clone https://github.com/thelinuxchoice/userrecon.git
- Type cd userrecon && ls
- Type chmod u+x userrecon.sh
- Then type ./userrecon.sh
- Enter username :- <username>
